By pure luck Jon got himself what he has always wanted. A Drahar hunting dog. We were visiting one of Jon's friends and a phone call came in about a free puppy. Of course Jon jumped on the chance and said yes. It turned out that the owners of the puppy couldn't handle the little tyke whining in the kennel all night long and needed to get rid of her. They didn't want any fuss, they just wanted her off their hands. We've had her for almost 24 hours now and she is a little spitfire who doesn't take any fuss from Leppy or Frankie. She plays with them and fights back and we haven't had any trouble whatsoever. The cutest thing so far has been Jon cuddling with her all night long in bed. He is so happy to finally have what he's always wanted. :)
