Dress Fitting Fiasco

Today my mom and I went to get my dress fitted so we can finally take it home. The lady who helped me is so funny. She is this short asian lady who will do anything to please all of her customers. My mom and I had gone in a few weeks ago and she was going to cut out all the bustles that were making my dress look extremely frilly. We arrived today and she hadn't got it done due to their busy prom orders. She took one look at us and ran in the back, grabbed my dress, and hurriedly cut out all the bustles. I went into the changing room with her and we were putting on the dress. All of a sudden she froze and said, "Ohhhh shit." This coming from this short asian lady had me smiling a bit. She leaned her head against my back and said, "I took the bustles out of the wrong dress." This wasn't my dress! She was mortified that she had done this because the dress she had changed was a rushed order and it was going to take her 2 hours to fix it! The whole time I was there she kept muttering, "I can't believe I did this, I am so stupid." I felt bad for the poor lady. I hope my dress doesn't get the axe without me knowing. I will go in again next week and try again. :)

How Embarassing

So tonight I was watching the Amazing Race in the living room and Jon was doing homework in his room. Leppy came in and we started cuddling and I started singing a little song for him because I'm weird and I do things like that. Out of nowhere Jon comes in and caught me! I started laughing so hard because if I walked in on him singing to a dog I'd probably think he was crazy. I'm sure that's what he was thinking too. We both laughed for a good minute and then I explained to him that Leppy liked it when I sang to him and Jon being the good man that he is said, "I know, it's okay." I was so embarassed! That won't stop me from doing it again though. Leppy likes it :)

Jon Has Spring Fever

Jon needs to get out of the house. He is going a bit nutty. He is acting bizarre at times and it's driving me nutty. He wants to get out and ride his Harley so bad. This past weekend he learned that my dad took his Harley out for a ride and Jon got so jealous. He would have done it too but the gravel in front of the garage is covered in a layer of ice and the Harley would never make it out. Not to mention that the gate is frozen to the ground. I wish it would stop being winter so Jon could have some fun. Hopefully next month will be better. But for now Jon has to stay inside doing homework and doing his dishes. :)

Friday Date Night

Jon and I have a new date night each Friday. Due to having little money we decided that an extravagent date night was out of the question until we win the lottery. (The lottery is Jon's idea not mine.) So every night we go out and get ice cream, sit in the car or in the building, and people watch. It is very interesting seeing how different people interact with each other. I often wonder if Jon and I look as goofy as some people do. Probably seeing as we are such dorks! I love date night and love that we can still go out and have fun even if all we do is go get ice cream and be with each other. :)

Kenny or Bust

I have recently become obsessed with buying Kenny Chesney tickets. I check his website everyday and I even joined his fanclub in order to buy tickets earlier than the rest of the world. I really want to go and it's my goal to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale!! :)
