Christmas Day!!

It was so much fun with Gage this Christmas because he actually enjoyed opening his presents and playing with his toys all day. He still doesn't understand the meaning but next year we will start working on that.

Jon was not so excited about the clothes his mom bought him. But I WAS!

But he was EXTREMELY excited for the bullets his sister gave him. Men are so easy to please. :)

I literally screamed when I opened a shoe box and found TONS of Foamy Soap!! I have an obsession with it at the moment and I absolutely love it! Thanks Becky!

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE my Packer's cups. I don't think I can use any other cup ever again. Really...

Gage got a new fort because he loves getting under stuff to play. His uncle Austin loves the fort too. :)

Never under estimate the power of your mother-in-law. Mine stuck $20 under the honey jar that I gave her for paying for our dinner one night. I'm still allowed to offer to pay for my dinners NANCY! :)

Jon got me an extremely pretty present. I can't get a good picture of it but he did really good. I love my new blue topaz bracelet Jon!!! :)

Great Christmas. :)

Christmas Eve Fun!

We had a nice quiet Christmas Eve this year. We spent a small portion of the morning up in the mountains letting the dogs roam free. Gage was super bundled up and did really well for about ten minutes and then he was done. We'll go up again when it's warmer.

Dinner at my mom and dad's was a blast! There wasn't any fighting (which was really abnormal for us) and we all had so much fun. We played the card game Golf, had our white elephant gift exchange (my mom got an IPAD!), and ate lots of food!

Mom's new IPAD!

Gage LOVES his purple dinosaur!! I can't tell you how many times we've heard it sing the ABC's already.

Aunt Chelsey put Gage's toy together for him. She totally rocks!

I love that kids get SO much enjoyment from boxes. Big and little kids :)

Gage loves his car toy that grandma bought him! He laughed and laughed!

Tattoo-A-Palooza

Jon and I are extremely over weight and NOTHING has been good enough to motivate us lately. So starting November 10th we decided to make a bet. Whoever loses the highest percentage of weight in 1 year wins. And the LOSER has to get a tattoo of the winners choosing! Yep so far this has been working because both Jon and I have been hitting the gym and eating better. We joined a program through my work that helps push us to lose the weight. It will pay for our gym membership as long as we lose up to 1 BMI point every 60 days. Jon has 1 pound to lose by February 12th and I have 6!! I guess I better get cracking! We'll keep you posted on how it's going. :)

Christmas Card Pictures

We got to do Christmas Cards this year! Jon and I weren't fighting when the pictures were taken like last year. In fact, we decided to just keep it all about Gage and the puppies! The puppies were really good sports. They even got treats for putting up with getting a little dressed up. Gage is just as cute as ever.

Gage's First Santa Visit

Umm so this year I decided to take Gage to see Santa even though I had a very good idea that he wouldn't like it. We waited in line, Gage not so patiently, and finally got to see Santa. Gage wouldn't have anything to do with him. He just looked away the whole time. Well at least we tried!

Thanks Amy for taking the picture!

Thankgiving in Idaho!

Thanksgiving was in Idaho with the Fielding Clan this year. It was great! The big Fielding boys decided they wanted to try their hand at cooking a Turduckin. It was gross and disgusting watching them mutilate each individual bird (they had to de-bone all but the Turkey). I was grossed out but boy did they have fun! It turned out okay.
Luckily Nancy and Randy made a real turkey though. :) It was an exciting and fun filled 5 days! Gage loved playing with his cousins!! :)

Boo at the Zoo & Halloween

Willow Park Zoo does Boo at the Zoo where kids get to dress up and see the animals and play games. Gage like to, you guessed it, RUN AROUND. He looked adorable in his little bear costume though. It was super fun. My friend Amy and her kid Zoe had fun too. It will be a yearly tradition for the Fielding's!

Halloween was exciting. We dressed Gage up when we got home, took him to my mom and dad's, he ran around the house for a bit and then we decided to try to go trick or treating up our block. Well...Gage only wanted to.....run. (sigh) We did do one house and he liked it. Then he got cranky so we went home. I think he had more fun handing out candy to the 17 kids that came to the house more than he liked trick or treating. :)

Founders Day 2011

Gage got to participate in his first parade at Founder's Day! He really would have much rather run around but he enjoyed most of it. Especially the delicious candy! He got to ride in a wagon pulled by Grammy (but really he wanted to get out and run). This boy will never stop moving!

Next year we'll have him try some rides. :)

Logan Fair & Idaho State Fair

We went to the Logan and Idaho State Fair in September....it's Jon's favorite. Gage loved just roaming around seeing the different animals. The goats and horses were Gage's absolute favorites.

Gage's Surgery

Gage had tubes put in his ears on August 26th. He was the first baby to go in but of course we had to wait for the doctor to get there. During that time Gage ran around pre-op in his little gown. The other patients adored him and one lady even said he brought happiness to the place instead of feeling gloom. Gage did great the whole time. He was extremely monstrous when he came out of surgery but he was just coming out of anesthesia and didn't know what was going on. It took 30 minutes for him to calm down but once he did he slept on daddy and snored and snored. An hour later he was back to his normal self. Easy as pie.

Just For Fun

These are a few random pictures of Gage during the summer.

Gage is gonna be a Harley Dude just like his daddy! He already loves it!

Gage sitting in the dogs empty water dish reading. We caught him in this many many times. :)
