With all the awesome sights to see in Yellowstone, bison are the most memorable I think. They are all over the place. While walking around the mud volcanoes Jon and I were walking on the boardwalk and stumbled across a buffalo just standing calmly only 30 feet away. I of course freaked out and walked very quickly way from that buffalo. At one point it turned and looked at me and gave me the evil eye. Jon on the other hand stood as close to it as he could and snapped pictures and stared at it. I didn't realize this until I was halfway down the boardwalk that Jon hadn't budged an inch. Didn't he see all the signs posted all over the place saying that buffalo can run at you 30 mph and gore you to death. Ahh! And didn't he see all the other people moving quickly away from it as well. I just rolled my eyes at him and told him to move it or lose it. :) Photos above are the bison Jon took while I ran.
