I just finished reading the book Marley and Me. It was such a good book and I could relate to it in so many ways because Leppy is just as silly as Marley is and their antics are almost identical. Labs are definitley the way to go. I am very surprised at myself for even finishing the book though. I knew going into it that Marley dies at the end and had planned not to read it all the way through for that reason. With my fear of death it seemed rational in my mind. But I decided to read it all the way through just to tell people that I could do it. An hour of crying my eyes out thoughts of my beloved Leppy dying running through my head, I finally finished the book. I take that as a plus for me and hope that my at home therapy will start working its magic on me somehow. Otherwise I might have to pull out the big guns. As for the book I recommend it to anyone who loves dogs or just likes hearing silly stories about them. :)
